Just ask Alice when her tall is small / And find your own way to the fall

Sometimes growth begins where comfort ends. There are moments when life asks us to move before we fully understand where the path leads. The street is unfamiliar. The air is cold. Everything in us wants to wait for certainty before we take another step. But certainty is not always the invitation. Sometimes curiosity is. The white rabbit is not only a symbol of wonder. It is the strange pull toward something just beyond what feels safe. It is the moment we sense that staying still may cost us more than stepping forward. Uncomfortable action often feels unreasonable at first. It can look awkward, lonely, or even foolish. We may not be able to explain it well. We may only know that something in us is being called to move. The question is not whether the road feels strange. The question is whether the step is true. When fear says wait, growth often whispers walk. Not every next step comes with a map. Some come with only a door, a flicker of light, and the choice to follow what awakens us. Sometimes the thrill is not in knowing where the path goes. It is in finally being willing to take it. I do not need the whole map. I only need the courage for the next step.

Lyrics

VERSE

Walking down this lonely street In this lonely town to a lonely meet It's been dark awhile And the air is cold A bitter bite in the wind As if something foretold

The shadows are out

As the streetlights race To keep a light on the track Of an evolving race Walking with unfelt swagger Towards the famous home Of Alice's running white rabbit Right out of Carroll's tome

If I were to pause for thought

Perhaps it might be a surmise Of the weirdness of my trek As if by some strange reprise

PRE-CHORUS

So I took note Of the boat In the moat For the float Was a bloat And the tote Was all that wrote

CHORUS

Whether it's a blue pill Or the red of your will One will make you larger One will make you smaller But Mother's pills Are what fulfills Our little thrills

BRIDGE

Just ask Alice when her tall is small And find your own way to the fall As mother's pills fail their thrills And white rabbits heed your call

CHORUS

Whether it's a blue pill Or the red of your will One will make you larger One will make you smaller But Mother's pills Are what fulfills Our little thrills
